I’m very lucky my company is so flexible we get to decide what day we wanted off, so of course I chose Friday instead of today. 🤷🏼‍♀️

💀🧡🌸 Día de los Muertos.

A Mexican tradition that happens to fall on Halloween but has nothing at all to do with it. This skeletal Catrina figure is one of the most famous representations of di de los muertos today.

Every year from October 31st-November 2nd (sometimes longer) families will put out offerings for their departed loved ones to ease their journey into death, this custom dates as far back as 3000 years in Aztec customs. 😱

Feeling honoured to get to be a part of these traditions, and with my new friend originally from Mexico too! 👏🏼💓

I can’t believe it’s already been 3 weeks since arriving in Playa!

First impressions…
• Feels like 36 everyday and I’m loving it 🌞
• Amazing community of nomads here 👩🏼‍💻
• Vegan food scene is 🤌🏼
• Mi Español necistas mucho trabajo 🤭
• There are almost too many beautiful places near by to explore! 🗺

I am so happy I manifested and worked towards this goal for the last two years — and am beyond thrilled to finally be living it!

If you need a push to start working towards your dreams/goals let this be your sign. 💫
